Fear

  "Fear" of not achieving your goal! of loosing people! of trying new things in life!            of what will happen in the future! of not getting that job done! of not getting likes or followers on social media! of asking for help! of rejection! of what others will think.... and many more..... There is an unending list.... whether you are the CEO of a company or a junior employee, a child or an adult, affluent or poor, we all have fears of one kind or another. See! Fears are like seeds; the more we water them, the more they develop. In context, the more we are afraid of anything going wrong or being worried, the more we start channeling those ideas, the more fear grows. Dread is a notion of being afraid of taking action toward goals, and when we are unable to take action, we experience fear. Expectations


 

 The first thing that comes to mind is whether or not we are appropriate to fit in with society and whether or not I will receive social acceptance after completing this or that. We have become so obsessed with pleasing other people by making up assumptions about what they could want from us that we have gone insane. The fact that both Draupadi and Krishna had dark skin was brought up at one point. Being a female, Draupadi was extremely aware of this and typically avoided social situations because she felt inferior. She once questioned Krishna about why society views her skin tone negatively.

"People often see you as you see yourself," he said. This makes it clear that we frequently put aside our desires or passions in order to consider what other people may say, think, or perceive of us. However, why should we consider other people when our life and decisions need to be unaffected by the opinions of others? There are many different kinds of expectations, such as those pertaining to people, emotions, the workplace, etc. Additionally, we meet the expectations of people throughout our lives, right up until the moment we pass away. However, what about our hopes, aspirations, and desires? The sad truth is that our wishes do not always come true.
